Frequently Asked… and Occasionally Ridiculous Questions

  • Q: Do you really live full time in an RV?
A: Yes. Two humans, four furry copilots, one rolling home. It is messy, beautiful, and often hilarious.

Q: What kind of rig do you have?
A: A 35ft travel trailer. It is cozy and surprisingly roomy. Parking it is a skill we earned with coffee and patience.

Q: How do you choose where to go next?
A: Gigs, money flow, curiosity, and coffee. Sometimes events decide for us. Other times we aim for the prettiest sunset.

Q: Do you stay put sometimes?
A: Yes. Slowing down helps with projects, budget, and sanity. Full time does not mean non-stop.

  • Q: Are your product links sponsored?
A: No. They are Amazon affiliate links, but we only list gear we bought, tested, and actually use. If you purchase, we earn a small commission that helps fund more coffee. We would never promote something we don’t like and use.

Q: What gear saved your bacon?
A: Leveling blocks, a solid surge protector, a tire pressure monitor, and a coffee maker that survives travel days. Most of all, our generator.

Q: Where can I see your picks?
    A: Here: Product Recommendations.

  • Q: How do you make money on the road?
A: Pamela works in film and live production marketing. Eric handles content, gaming, and logistics and currently sending out resumes. We juggle freelance contracts and creative projects between campsites with decent Wi-Fi.

    Q: Do you take partnerships?
A: We are open to gear and travel partners that fit our values. Pitch us on the Contact page with clear details and deliverables.

Q: How do you handle internet on the road?
A: Starlink, campground Wi-Fi ( rarely reliable), and a backup hotspot. Starlink allows both of us to game and work at the same time.

  • Q: Any regrets about going full time?
A: No. Life Long Dream! We learned to carry a spare tire, a sense of humor, and fewer kitchen gadgets than we thought we needed.

    Q: Favorite places so far?
A: Alaska for awe. Utah for red rock and light. Anywhere with kind people and good food. Currently loving the Colorado Mountains and hotsprings.

  • Q: How do you handle MCAS and EDS while traveling?
A: Carefully. We plan meals around safe foods, carry what works for us, and choose destinations that don’t trigger symptoms. Living tiny means knowing what’s in everything we eat and keeping our space clean, cool, and low-stress. Far from perfect and there’s days I don’t listen to my body.

Q: How do you manage medications on the road?
A: A mix of planning and patience. We refill prescriptions ahead of travel, use nationwide pharmacy chains for flexibility, and keep a small backup supply for delays.

Q: What’s your approach to exercise and movement?
A: Gentle consistency. Pamela mixes light running with Pilates and mobility work to support joints. On flare days, stretching and mindful rest take priority over pushing through. Movement keeps pain in check but balance is everything.

Q: How do you handle medical appointments while full-time traveling?
A: At the moment, our base is Salt Lake City with our primary care. We make sure to plan travel around appointments.

Q: What’s in your health kit?
A: The essentials: electrolyte packets, antihistamines, emergency meds, collagen, protein shakes, and a mini first-aid stash. Add a pulse oximeter, a heating pad, and some magnesium lotion, and we’re ready for most curveballs.

Q: How do you stay grounded mentally?
A: Nature helps. So does having structure. We love our morning coffee, stretching, evening gratitude. When we slow down long enough to breathe (and remember why we chose this life), everything rebalances.

  • Q: I have a question you did not cover.
A: Ask away. We read every note.
