We did it! Our New Chapter on Wheels

Travel Trailer in southern Utah red rock desert

This summer, we traded square footage for freedom. We downsized our lives and moved into a 35-foot travel trailer with two dogs, two cats, and a growing sense of adventure. Don’t worry, you’ll meet the whole crew soon enough.

We’re easing into full-time RV living ahead of schedule. Once Pamela wraps up her term on the city council in December, the open road officially becomes home. For now, we’re getting used to life in a smaller space, testing what we truly need and what we definitely don’t. A few trial trips have already taught us plenty about living, packing, and keeping the coffee maker level.

Luckily, we didn’t start this journey as rookies. Eric has spent the past two summers managing an RV rental business, so we entered with a solid foundation instead of wide-eyed guesswork. This lifestyle has been a lifelong dream, and it still feels surreal to wake up each morning to a different horizon.

Our maiden voyage took us to Disneyland, where we ran a half marathon before spending a couple of weeks in Southern California while Pamela worked nearby. It was the perfect blend of work, play, and learning to live differently.

This blog is where we’ll share it all, from the wins to the mishaps, and the lessons learned along the way. You’ll find stories, photos, and practical tips that might inspire your own version of freedom on the road.

Welcome to Jujularoo Unhitched, our ongoing story of freedom, love, and adventure.
